We worked with the customer while they were remodeling their home. They sent us the design they had, the dimensions and we did the rest. Building the units was a nice change of pace for the shop and we loved putting it all together. The construction of this piece was done using sliding dovetail construction for the shelves. We wanted to use solid wood on the shelves so the cherry would age evenly. This was important because you can see the tops of the units from upstairs. Here are some installation photos:
